Membership is available to individuals who own a boat and who have a slip in the Pepin Marina. Membership in the PYC includes:

  • Access to the PYC facility: showers; bathrooms; living area; dining areas inside and out; use of all kitchen facilities, including dishes and utensils, ovens, refrigerators, microwave; use of the outdoor grills, propane provided.

  • Basic kitchen supplies for use in the PYC such as:  condiments, spices, coffee, paper plates, cooking oils, sugar, etc.

  • Participation in all PYC social events, planned or spontaneous. There are about 10-12 planned events in a summer. Some have a nominal fee associated with them.

  • Participation in PYC racing events at a reduced fee.

  • Participation in the PYC Cruising Club, a group devoted to promoting the education and safety of boating.

 Membership is subject to a maximum number of boats/families. Applicants will be placed on a waiting list if membership is filled. When vacancies in PYC arise, membership will be offered to applicants on the waiting list in the order received.

Membership in PYC includes the immediate family only (spouse/ significant other and dependant minor children). Cooperative or partnership boat owners must apply separately.

Applicants on the waiting list may be offered Social Membership in PYC which includes race participation at member rates and invitation to social activities. Social members do not have individual access to or use of PYC facilities at any other times. Social membership dues are $50 per year. Social members must agree to move up to full membership when offered or terminate their social membership, withdraw their membership application and wait 2 years before reapplying
